There is no Right or Wrong to become successful as a filmmaker... It depends on how much effort you put in it.
This is my opinion to open your mind to think about it...its not a rule.
Understanding color temperature will make your videos stand out.
I wanted to show you my DIY SOFT BOX, hope this tutorial will help you. :)
A SOFT BOX is a good way to achieve SOFT LIGHT.
You don't need to have a lot of lights to create a cinematic scene. Watch this video and see how easy it can be to light a night scene.
This video is to show you the most common ways on How to Set Marks
for Actors. From using a "T" Shape mark , Toe Mark, Box Mark, Double
Toe Box mark... you can choose what works better for you and your
actors.
Using Marks for actors may seem like a waste a time, but it will actually save you time making sure the actors hit their mark every take.
Learning how to hit marks accurately and seamlessly is a vital component of good technique and something all actors must master.
The only time I don't use marks to mark the actors position is on wide
shots, instead I ask them to find references within the set props.
Now you have learned something... its time to get some work... so this last video is to make you understand how to manage a film project.
The TRIPLE CONSTRAINT is the combination of the three most significant restrictions on any project: Quality, Price, Delivery
Can you make a GOOD, FAST and CHEAP project? NO, its impossible...
You will have to pick up 2 of those options. You can't have it all.
I shot a music video for a band called CHALK for the song "Everything" and this is a little break down of the steps we took in Pre production (budget, idea, moodboard, storyboard, editing) . This video is a reflection of how you can break down your shoot into different steps on HOW TO SHOOT A MUSIC VIDEO.
Hope this tips will help you when shooting your music videos

This video is a simple tutorial (perhaps silly and not usable on professional shots) , explaining HOW TO CREATE A KALEIDOSCOPE EFFECT in Camera.
With a Simple Box of Chocolates you can be super creative and achieve some wicked shots.
Not super cinematic, not super filmmaker style, but still very fun to play with your camera.
As a Filmmaker I did a lot of Mistakes and I know now which ones I should avoid when shooting films. These are in my opinion the TOP 5 most common mistakes you should avoid as a Filmmaker.
This inspiring motivational video was created with the single purpose to motivate people.
MOTIVATION is literally the desire to do things. It's the difference between waking up before dawn to pound the pavement and lazing around the house all day. It's the crucial element in setting and attaining goals—and research shows you can influence your own levels of motivation and self-control. So figure out what you want, power through the pain period, and start being who you want to be.
Whats your motivation?
