ABOUT THIS COURSE
When I prepared for my PSM1 assessment, I wanted to pass, first time round, to secure my financial investment. I compiled a list of questions I thought were most likely to be asked, and studied these questions thoroughly. I also made sure I had a hard copy of the Scrum Guide handy, and used post-its to help me find specific content easily. My intention was to treat the assessment as an open book exam. While I think the hard copy may have helped with one or two questions, I quickly realized that it was not feasible due to the fast pace of the assessment – so use that tip with caution.
You should consider this test if:
- You are an individual intending to obtain a Scrum Master certification, such as the Scrum.Org PSM 1 Certification, and want to ensure you are well prepared for the exam.
- You are acting as (or plan to act as) a Scrum Master and want to validate your knowledge of the Scrum Framework.
- You are part of a team that is learning about Scrum, and the team want’s to validate it’s knowledge and application of the Scrum Framework.
There are 30 questions in this first test set. We've set the bar high, with a pass rate of 80%. We've also kept the time purposefully short, at 25 minutes. This is because any online certification exams you may be planning on taking are likely to require a solid pass mark, and place you under time pressure.
Remember that you can repeat the test as many times as you like, so have fun, and enjoy your learning.
Work through this second set of questions to continue challenging your understanding of the Scrum Guide. As with the first test set, we've kept the pass rate high (80%) and the time purposefully short. This is to prime you for any online exam you may be planning to take.
